This breathtaking and totally unique 5 bed villa sits on a hilltop nestled among pine and eucalyptus trees. From its spacious covered porch and three terraces, you will enjoy a 180 degree southern view of the sun-kissed waters of the Mediterranean, and a panoramic view of the majestic peaks of the Sierra Almijara Mountains to the north.

Enjoy your holidays at the Villa La Sirena while lounging by the pool watching the sailboats drift by; catching up with a loved one over a drink on the terrace; or combing the beach for seashells—only a three minute walk down the drive.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool with a covered outdoor eating area with fully equipped kitchen and BBQ next to the private pool area overlooking the sea. Perfect for entertaining large groups and families.

Private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting. There are just so many places on this property to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Costa del Sol.

Villa La Sirena is divided into two separate living spaces that are adjoined by a private pool, outdoor kitchen and common patio as was typical by early Moorish architects. We refer to these living spaces as Side A and B.

Side A: Side A features an expansive 'wrap around' porch and large living area with a cozy fireplace that functions as a favorite year around gathering place to read, eat, relax, and entertain. Decorated in a stylish Mediterranean décor, the numerous windows from the living area provide gorgeous views overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Side A’s living room comes complete with two large sofas, television, a DVD/VHS player (with a selection of movies for all the family), and satellite system.

A separate dining room with French doors, opens onto the patio, and comfortably seats 8 people. Next to the dining room is the kitchen which is fully outfitted, and equipped with a large refrigerator/freezer, ideal for keeping your San Miguel chilled. The kitchen has plenty of cutlery, crockery & glasses in which to prepare meals. Off the kitchen, is a utility room with a washer and dryer and a line to hang your bathing suits to dry.

There are three bedrooms. Two are on the main floor, and have built in wardrobes and bedside units with drawers. One has an en-suite bath with shower, and the other has a full size bath and shower just outside the bedroom door.

The third bedroom overlooks the patio and pool area and has an en-suite bathroom, and private balcony/terrace. It can only be accessed from the patio, and sits within a strand of trees which provides privacy from both villas.

Side B: The exterior structure of Side B features a three story, castle-like tower with a spiral staircase leading to the Master Bedroom and a roof top terrace that serves as a relaxing spot to watch the amazing sunsets and star-filled evening skies.

You enter the property via the common patio and walk into a bright living and dining area with windows facing south to the sea. There are two bedrooms and they are split over two levels. The downstairs bedroom is large enough to accommodate two sets of bunk beds plus a sitting area with large bay windows overlooking the rose garden and sea. The top two bunks are single beds and the bottom two bunks are each double beds. A large bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate bath is located up a half flight of stairs from the bedroom and living area. On that same level, a small but fully equipped kitchen provides easy access to preparing and serving meals in the dining area or patio. Off the kitchen, an internal staircase built within the castle tower takes you to the spectacular Master Suite with en-suite bath, and oversized balcony facing out over the sea. This is a breathtaking space where you will spend evenings gazing out at the sea and the stars.

The entrance to Villa La Sirena features a curved staircase leading up to a wrought- iron gated entrance. As you walk through the gate you will step into a historic Andalucian patio featuring Moroccan detail. This split-level patio is a common area for the two almost adjoining living spaces. A few steps up takes you to several landings—the top landing giving you access to a private pool with a sweeping view of the Mediterranean Sea. Next to the pool you will find a fully fitted outdoor kitchen and covered dining area large enough to seat 12. It is uniquely designed for entertaining groups and families and is perfectly situated with beautiful views across the water.

There are so many places on this property to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Costa del Sol. Stroll through the beautifully landscaped rose garden with its distinctive flowering trees, and look for the two ideally placed hammocks each having beautiful views overlooking the Bay.

Villa La Sirena is ideally located in a quiet residential wooded area known for its beauty and views. For those seeking seclusion, uncrowded beaches, and the charismatic beauty of Andalusia, Villa La Sirena is ideally situated. The area benefits from year-round sunshine while the ocean breezes and cover from the trees, keep temperatures pleasant during the summer.

The local village of Mezquitilla is a 5 minute walk. This seaside fishing village has beach-front restaurants, bars, cafes, featuring local fresh fish and other Andalusia delicacies. There is a local grocery store and trinket shop open seven days a week with freshly baked bread & pastries available daily.

La Caleta another fishing village is just a ten minute drive and has a port/marina with a further selection of shops, restaurants & bars and the always interesting open air market on Saturday mornings. Torre del Mar, Velez Malaga, and Nerja are all historic and vibrant cities each within a fifteen minute drive, and all featuring famous beaches, restaurants, shopping, and quaint plaza’s to enjoy a tableside tapa or two.

Traveling 15-30 minutes inland from our villa takes you through the olive, almond and citrus groves to the Campos and several traditional white-washed villages.

You are centrally located for day trips to experience Spain’s Andalucian culture, art, architecture and cuisine easily accessible by well maintained highways leading to Malaga’s Picasso Museum (40 minutes), Rhonda, where Spain’s original bullring is located (2 ˝ hours), Seville, also known as the Venice of Spain (3 hours), and the stunning city of Granada with the incomparable Alhambra Castle, just 2 hours away.
